Hi, I’m Kayla!

When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me chasing after my four-year-old rescue dog, Pepper, or trying (and occasionally failing) to complete the New York Times crossword.

I earned my M.S. in Visualization Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2022, where I dove deep into animation and discovered how much I love blending storytelling with design. Outside of work, I’m a lifelong fan of fantasy and sci-fi books, a painter and jewelry maker, and a slightly accident-prone stained-glass hobbyist (the band-aids are part of the process).

Movies are another constant: I rewatch The Lord of the Rings trilogy and the 2005 Pride & Prejudice every year, and our family go-tos include Clue, Murder by Death, and anything directed by Mel Brooks.

Whether it’s crafting stained glass, building a brand, or piecing together a thousand-piece puzzle, I love the challenge of creating something that lasts, and maybe having a little fun along the way.
