Ticket to the Big Leagues

A little over a year ago, I was asked to design an A-frame sign for a Rangers game that would subtly tease a special promotion: customers who purchased from 7-Eleven during the game were entered to win tickets to the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game. I illustrated two playful characters—one for each side of the sign—each sneakily holding the coveted tickets. The artwork was such a hit with both the in-house team and the marketing department that it continued to be used internally for other projects. Eventually, the 7-Collection apparel team asked me to create a third character, a hotdog mascot, which inspired them to launch an entire baseball-themed line for 7-Eleven’s apparel brand.

Even More 7-Eleven Illustrations

7-eleven Halloween Wallpaper

For 7-Eleven’s annual Halloween celebration—a full-scale party and costume contest—I reimagined classic 1950s creature feature movie posters through the lens of the brand’s most iconic products. Each illustration takes the pulpy, B-movie aesthetic of the era and swaps monsters for Slurpees, Big Gulps, hot dogs, tacos, and pizza.

Titles like Creature from the Soda Lagoon, Attack of the 50 Ft. Hot Dog, and Man from Planet Slurp gave the series a tongue-in-cheek energy, while a bold comic-book palette tied the collection together. The result was a playful, highly shareable wallpaper that merged nostalgia with brand personality—showcasing 7-Eleven’s love of going big for Halloween.

7Now Comic

To bring energy and personality to 7NOW Delivery, I illustrated a bold, comic-style story that reimagined the everyday delivery run as a thrilling adventure. With cinematic framing, high-contrast colors, and playful dialogue, the piece turned the driver into a cool, unstoppable heroine—making delivery feel exciting, fun, and even a little sexy. The comic aesthetic gave 7NOW an unexpected edge while keeping the tone lighthearted and engaging.

Early Bird & Night Owl Redesign

As a personal challenge, I reimagined 7-Eleven’s classic “Early Bird” and “Night Owl” mascots—characters originally created to embody the brand’s extended hours. The redesign brought them closer to their intended inspirations: the owl was redrawn as a true burrowing owl, while the bird gained a more naturalistic rooster form. The updated illustrations preserve the vintage charm of the originals while refining proportions, linework, and personality for a modern refresh.
